Thrombotargets has developed and adapted to High Throughput Screening, a new family of biological assays capable to quantify simultaneously clot formation and clot lysis (HemostaScreen), total antioxidant capacity (OxidantScreen) and low-density lipoprotein modification (AtheroScreen). With these proven proprietary new HTS Platforms ( ), Thrombotargets is creating a continuously novel and promising pipeline of drug candidates.

The topical antihemorrhage drug TT-103MH will arrive at clinical phase I at the beginning of 2008. It's a human recombinant protein for bleeding treatment in healthy subjects, hemophilia A, B, and C, factor VII deficiency, Von Willebrand disease, congenital platelet disorders and hemorrhages induced by anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapies.
The hemophiliacs have serious problems with day to day living and in a simple dental extraction or in any minor trauma causing a bleeding wound they have no medical treatment available to improve their quality of life. Overall results demonstrate that TT-103 (at a total dose of 1.2 µg/ml) will be very effective to treat bleeding episodes in hemophilic patients, even when a lethal hemorrhage is present.
TT-103MH is a new recombinant protein developed for use in the treatment of non-life threatening mild-to-severe bleeding episodes due to cutaneous injuries or dental procedures in hemophiliacs. It has been observed to prevent death in a lethal model of hemophilia in mice; TT-103MH also reduced blood coagulation time up to 90% in ex vivo studies using hemophiliac blood.
TT-103MH is a proprietary targeted antihemorrhagic human recombinant protein that induces a fast, efficient and stable blood coagulation.
